“PropTech Lithuania” Elects New Board and Chairperson, Announces Search for New CEO
The association PropTech Lithuania, which unites both startups and traditional real estate businesses, has elected a new board and a new board chairperson. The position has been taken over by Inga Langaitė, former head of Unicorns Lithuania delegated by Civinity. The association is also seeking a new CEO and has announced the start of the selection process.
The newly formed board will include both experienced members and new members joining the association’s leadership.
Joining the board are Inga Langaitė, former head of Unicorns Lithuania delegated by Civinity and an expert in the startup ecosystem; Agnė Sitkevičiūtė, head of the Baltic region for the startup Dalux, which develops BIM technologies; and Gintaras Makšimas, head of the state-owned company Turto Bankas.
According to Deividas Jacka, chairman of Civinity, which delegated I. Langaitė, her joining is great news for the entire PropTech community:
"The PropTech community in Lithuania is growing rapidly – over the past year, many of the largest brands from both traditional business and the startup world have joined the association. We need to continue uniting this community for meaningful work and contribute to technological progress in the real estate sector. Inga’s experience in building the startup ecosystem will be extremely valuable," – commented D. Jacka.
New board member Agnė Sitkevičiūtė is excited to join the association’s leadership and emphasizes the importance of startup representatives on the board:
"Today, the use of digital tools, applications, artificial intelligence, and data-driven solutions in business is no longer optional – it is essential to remain competitive. I believe that by uniting technology developers and market players, we can further strengthen Lithuania’s PropTech ecosystem and help the entire sector confidently and strategically advance in technological progress," – says A. Sitkevičiūtė.
The board will continue to include Domas Dargis, CEO of Eika Group; Kęstutis Sasnauskas, CEO of Eastnine; and Mindaugas Statulevičius, head of the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association. Other board participants include Tomas Astrauskas, CEO of Dextall Europe; Tomas Naščišonis, CEO of GoAGI; Beatričė Laurinkutė-Kijevičienė, head of the startup Strato Create; and Viktorija Čijunskytė, chairperson of Profitus.
Inga Langaitė has been elected the new board chairperson, taking over from Domas Dargis, who has been appointed vice-chairperson and will continue to actively contribute to the association’s management.
"I am pleased that PropTech Lithuania is entering a new stage of maturity. Inga Langaitė’s joining and election as board chairperson brings a strong, startup-focused strategic perspective and opportunities to further strengthen a startup-oriented ecosystem. I am confident that Inga’s experience will give a new impetus to the entire community. I will continue to actively work on the board, contributing to shaping the association’s direction, growth, and long-term goals," – says D. Dargis.
According to board chairperson I. Langaitė, the first task of the new board is to appoint a new CEO for the association:
"Lithuania has great potential to become a leader in PropTech technologies not only in the region but across Europe. Our ambition is to create the fastest innovation realization center in Europe, where ideas quickly turn into tested and market-ready solutions. For this, we are looking for a leader from the startup ecosystem who can not only manage the association but also strategically, sustainably, and regionally shape it," – says I. Langaitė.
