Another investor is joining the sensational entrepreneurship show “Sharks. Lithuania”
The sensational entrepreneurship show “Sharks. Lithuania” is back. The largest media group TV3 starting November 3, will once again give viewers in Lithuania the incredible opportunity to follow this global entrepreneurship show. This season, alongside the familiar project investors, new “sharks” who have already made a name for themselves not only in Lithuania but worldwide are joining the show. One of them is Viktorija Čijunskytė, founder and CEO of the crowdfunding platform “Profitus,” according to a press release.
The “Sharks” project features very interesting speakers, but their work speaks even louder. They start their workday early and finish very late, and sometimes it lasts around the clock. They are already familiar project investors.
They are: Tadas Burgaila, founder of “Kilo Health”; Gediminas Kvietkauskas, CEO of “East West Agro”; Einaras Gravrock, founder of the multimillion-dollar startup “CUJO AI”; Dovilė Burgienė, head of the law firm “Walless”; and Robertas Dargis, founder and chairman of “Eika.”
This season, they will be joined by two of the most powerful women in today’s Lithuanian business world: Toma Sabaliauskienė, CMO of the Lithuanian unicorn “Nord Security,” and Viktorija Čijunskytė, founder and CEO of “Profitus.”
If you believe you are creating something that could attract investments worth thousands and impress the “sharks,” this is your last chance to become a participant in the project.
Viktorija Čijunskytė: When childhood loans turn into million-euro investments
“When I was ten, I used to lend money to family members at 50–100% interest. And now I have a large lending business,” jokes V. Čijunskytė.
She started her first business at just 23 and today is the founder and CEO of the crowdfunding platform “Profitus,” which connects people, capital, and real estate projects.
“My focus areas and interests are real estate, investments, capital markets, and technology. My nature is entrepreneurial. I see problems and want to solve them by applying solutions,” says Čijunskytė.
According to her, the idea for her business came from a desire to give everyone—not just people with large capital—the opportunity to invest.
“I wanted investing to be accessible not only to a select few but to the wider public. Profitus was born from the idea of democratizing investing, so anyone could invest in real estate. Today I can confidently say I succeeded,” she says.
Through the platform managed by Viktorija, projects worth over €300 million have been financed, and the investor community has grown to more than 45,000.
Moreover, “Profitus” has expanded beyond Lithuania—Čijunskytė’s company has grown into the Baltic countries and Spain, and Viktorija has become one of the most prominent fintech leaders in Lithuania.
In 2020, she was named “Fintech Executive of the Year” by Fintech Baltic, and she currently serves as a board member and leader of “Proptech Lithuania.”
Beyond fintech, Viktorija is actively involved in financial education and women’s empowerment initiatives. She has also invested in various other businesses, from beauty salons to a sportswear startup in India.
Viktorija’s motivation is not only financial returns but also interesting people and ideas that change the environment. So what will catch her attention on “Sharks. Lithuania”?
“In business partnerships, respect, trust, and responsibility are most important to me. I won’t invest in ideas without high growth potential or in businesses that are merely hobbies and cannot scale. I really want to support women founders—few choose this path, so this project can be a great place to encourage women to act and implement their business ideas,” says Čijunskytė.
For all dreamers thinking about their own business success, Viktorija advises starting boldly—even if you don’t have all the answers. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, but learn quickly.
“And most importantly, surround yourself with people who believe in the idea as much as you do. Vision without a team is just an idea. Arm yourself with patience and see it through. Stick to your strategy but adapt quickly. Also, start everything with thorough analysis and data. Without information, it’s like going mushroom picking in the forest blindfolded,” says Čijunskytė.
“Sharks. Lithuania” – starting November 3, every Monday at 7:30 PM, only on TV3!
