Delfi Day. Why do women invest less often than men, and how to get back into rhythm after the holidays?
As we step into the new year, many people feel enthusiastic and determined to finally pursue new goals. At least one of those goals is often related to building financial security and investing. We especially start paying more attention to our finances after a festive season full of uncontrolled spending. This time on the show, we will talk about investing from a female perspective. We’ll explore whether women are just as skilled in this field as men—or perhaps even better. In the studio, we will welcome Miglė Juškevičiūtė-Grybinienė, who has extensive knowledge and experience in women’s investing.
We will also discuss how people tend to start the new year by promising to make a greater effort for their physical and emotional health. The National Wellbeing Index initiated by “Eurovaistinė” shows that behind intentions to take better care of oneself lie priorities quite different from sports or healthy eating. So, the reasons why New Year’s resolutions to start exercising and eating healthier so often fail—and what real data shows—will be explained by two experts of the National Wellbeing Index: Eglė Laskauskaitė, Head of Pharmaceutical Operations at “Eurovaistinė,” and geneticist, Doctor of Medical Sciences Dr. Vaidas Dirsė.
For many, Monday is emotionally difficult in itself, because after rest you have to get back into the work routine. Not to mention the Monday after the major year-end holidays. When for a couple of weeks the main “responsibilities” are to cook something tasty, spend time with loved ones, and eat everything prepared for feasts, getting back into the usual rhythm can feel like more than a one-day challenge. That’s why we will ask psychotherapist Monika Lukoševičiūtė how to make this unpleasant transition between rest and work as easy as possible. We will end the show with the Dakar segment, where “Delfi” sports news editor, together with racing driver Antanas Juknevičius, will discuss the start of the off-road rally and how Lithuania’s representatives performed.
