The unique TV3 entrepreneurship show “Sharks. Lithuania” returns with additions: the toughest new entrepreneurs are joining
It’s just the facts: the entrepreneurship show “Sharks” (English: “Shark Tank”), popular all over the world, has sparked a real revolution. Both in the business world and on television.
It is a project that wins awards and critical acclaim, captivates millions of viewers better than any series, seals deals worth hundreds of thousands, and is produced — you guessed it — on every continent.
“Sharks. Lithuania” is the only project that reminds us that business is a game in which the only rule is that there are no rules, the press release states.
Did you miss it? Good news — they’re coming back. The largest media group TV3 will once again give viewers the incredible opportunity to follow this global entrepreneurship show in Lithuania. The second season starts on November 3. Again — in prime time.
Numbers? More than 400 applicants, 38 different business ideas presented in the episodes, and 17 investments — that’s what the first season looked like.
And if, in times when everyone becomes a startup founder (literally everyone — from age 7 to 70), you feel you’ve missed the chance to stand before the “sharks”, there is good news — you still can.
And it doesn’t matter if your business idea isn’t sexy, unbelievably witty, or immediately changing the world. What matters is that it solves real problems, has growth potential, and is unique. Preferably, not only to you.
All those who believe they are building something that could attract thousands in investment are invited to register here: www.tv3.lt/rykliai.
The same waters, new “sharks”
The show’s “sharks” are very interesting conversationalists, but their work speaks even louder. They start their workday early and finish very late — sometimes it lasts the entire day and night. They are the already familiar project investors.
These include “Kilo Health” founder Tadas Burgaila, “East West Agro” CEO Gediminas Kvietkauskas, multimillion-dollar startup “CUJO AI” founder Einaras Gravrock, law firm “Walless” managing partner Dovilė Burgienė, and “Eika” founder and chairman of the board Robertas Dargis.
And this season, they will be joined by new sharks who have not appeared on the project before but have already made a name for themselves not only in Lithuania but worldwide. The kind who don’t follow trends, because they prefer to create them.
This tempo will be set in the very first episode by two of the toughest women in today’s Lithuanian business world: Toma Sabaliauskienė and Viktorija Čijunskytė.
One builds global technologies, the other democratizes investing and breaks financial stereotypes. But they share the same traits. Both know that before success, you must be ready for dozens of mistakes. And when you stumble — get up immediately and try again, again, and again.
Let them become your favorite mentors in the second season. Of course, if you manage to impress them. Because it will not be easy.
Toma Sabaliauskienė: What brought success to Lithuania’s unicorn “Nord Security”?
On “Sharks. Lithuania”, Toma has a clear goal — to inspire creation. “Someone inspired me, and now it’s time to give attention to those who are just taking their first steps,” she says.
Toma is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Lithuania’s unicorn “Nord Security”, responsible for a team of more than 400 marketing professionals working in markets from Brazil to Japan.
And her recipe for success? “I won’t lie. My answer is very simple — work 24/7,” says Toma.
In 2021, she was recognized as Lithuania’s CMO of the Year, and this year she was included in the “Top 100 Women in Tech in Europe 2025” list.
“Business is not just numbers. It is creativity, empathy, and constant learning. I want to encourage young people not to be afraid to take risks. Our success was born from 35 failures — the whole point is whether you can get up after them. This number shows how many times we learned, made mistakes, learned again, and didn’t give up until we discovered what we could offer to users around the world,” says Toma.
The brand led by T. Sabaliauskienė, “NordVPN”, is today’s global cybersecurity leader used by about 15 million users worldwide.
Thanks to Toma and her team, a niche technology was adapted for a mass audience, and the brand became one of the most recognized names in its category, accessible in more than 150 countries.
As someone who has been with the brand since the beginning, T. Sabaliauskienė has witnessed not only the challenges it faced but also what “Nord Security” has grown into today.
“The idea came from the co-founders, lifelong friends Eimantas Sabaliauskas and Tomas Okmanas, while walking along the Neris River in Valakampiai. While still working in other jobs, we all dreamed of becoming creators ourselves, to build something valuable and global in the field of technology and online security. We wanted to give people the opportunity to feel safe online — being heavy users ourselves, we saw many challenges,” Toma recalls.
With a degree in informatics, Toma is also a certified sailing captain. Perhaps that’s why her life holds so much balance between technological precision and… creativity. T. Sabaliauskienė says that analytical thinking and love for people is the best formula not only for building a successful business but also for keeping loyal people in it.
She is also a board member of “Unicorns Lithuania”, part of the Forbes Communications Council, actively invests in startups, and shares her experience with new creators.
“I don’t limit myself. Sometimes the opposite — I want to dive into things I don’t yet understand so I can gain new experiences and lessons. And with experience and opportunities, I want to invest in meaningful projects that really help certain groups of users,” says T. Sabaliauskienė, who has already invested in healthy food for pets, assistance apps for seniors, and tutoring services.
