The virtual conference "Fintech Week Lithuania" brought together Lithuanian and global Fintech experts

June 14-18 the "Fintech Week Lithuania" virtual conference took place. During the four-day event, participants could not only listen to reports, discussions, and presentations of startups, make new business connections, and participate in a virtual exhibition, but also watch the awards organized for the first time by companies and leaders of the Lithuanian financial technology sector.

The conference was attended by more than 100 international Fintech ecosystem experts and 3,000 participants from America, Asia, and Europe. Foreign and Lithuanian speakers shared the latest insights in the fields of financial technology, data protection, and digitization. Presentations and discussions analyzed how people's money management habits are changing, the impact of financial technologies on our daily lives during the COVID-19 crisis, and artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies, which enable the automation of the financial sector and ensure the security of operations in it. Another critical topic is regulatory compliance.

The end of the conference was crowned by the "Lietuvos Fintech awards", intended to honor the most prominent Lithuanian financial technology companies and personalities. As many as 10 of the most outstanding awards were handed out during the event, the laureates of which were chosen from more than 100 applicants. The evaluation commission was made up of Lithuanian and international experts.
