In 2019 Profitus raised 5 times more money


Crowdfunding platform Profitus operating for over a year, in 2019 raised over 7.6M euros and financed 47 projects.

It is counted that since its founding 8th of August 2018, the platform raised 9.7M euros in total and financed 58 projects. Exactly due to these achievements eu-startup.com named Profitus as one of the 10 most perspective Lithuanian start-ups that should be followed in 2020.

Profitus investors in total earned over 380 thousand euros, on average investors on the platform can receive an annual interest of 10.53%.

At this moment Profitus has 5638 registered investors, and the ratio of the loan and real estate value (LTV) on average was just 51%.

In 2019, only projects in Lithuania were financed on the platform, nevertheless, the investments come from the whole European Union. Although Profitus gives an opportunity to invest from 100 euros, the average investment portfolio reaches 10 374 euros, and the average investment is 2 437 euros.

In 2019, the average length of investment was - 11.34 months and the projects on average were financed in 6 days.

In total, in 2019 Profitus received 113 requests to borrow 42 million euros, but the company according to strict criteria picked and financed only some of them.


Goals for the new year

In 2020 Profitus is planning even bigger growth but doesn't expect much profit as hopes to invest in development.

'Until the end of this year, we aim to finance projects totalling 33M euros. Indeed, to reach it, we need to expand to different markets and look not only for investors but also for projects to finance. Therefore, in 2020 we plan to invest into expansion abroad' - claims the founder and executive Viktorija Vanage.

She adds, that this year more different loan products will be introduced as well as more attention will be given to the technological development of the platform.

'We plan to suggest new products for business clients and more opportunities for investors. Indeed, the technical advancement of the platform is critical. We plan to introduce a secondary market and a possibility to invest automatically. The 2nd version of the platform is already being prepared and it will be even more comfortable for the users' - says Viktorija Vanage.
