Profitus did market research to find out what a typical investor looks like and the reasoning behind his investment. The key reason to invest was unexpected.
'The research was very surprising because I was sure that inflation will be the main reason for investing. However, 44% of the respondents said that the main reason is uncertainty for the future and retirement' - notices Profitus founder Viktorija Cijunskyte.
Personal development is becoming more popular, people start realising that only they are responsible for their own well-being and no one else will take care of it. People start thinking about where from they will have money when they will retire.
The second reason to invest - is to make money work. Residents have saved record amounts of money during the pandemic. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number in funds grew by 1-2 milliard euros up to 30 milliards, therefore, people are looking for different ways to make their money work for them.
